Meestery Flower :: SOLVED?

I sent the sexy flower to my aunt who lives in Florida (looks exotic and tropical, right?). Her partner who is a brilliant Renaissance man could not identify the plant. But they tell me they are going to ask their friends who are horticulturists...and the grandchildren of the man that Romaine lettuce was named for!

So the meestery continues but hopefully will be solved soon.

Update: Per Mr. Romaine, it may be an Australian Coral Plant.
